REGIONAL AWARDS

Ministry of the Environment - Environmental Innovator Award

Criteria: an outstanding project in any category which demonstrates a creative approach to an environmental problem that could lead to cleaner air, land or water.
Eligible Categories: Jr. Int. or Sr. 1 prize per region

Award name: INNOVAT

The Hydro One Energy Ambassador Award

Criteria: Top project on the distribution, supply management, use or conservation of electrical energy. If no suitable electrical projects, another form of energy may be considered.
Eligible Categories: Jr. Int. or Sr. 1 prize per region

Award name: ENERGY

Ontario Association of Medical Laboratories Award

Criteria: Outstanding projects in disciplines such as Biochemistry, Chemistry, Microbiology, Toxicology, and Forensic Science, and incorporating analytical laboratory methods, such as analytical techniques or physical methods of analysis, for example a spectrometer or chromatograph. Projects must be outstanding in their own right and display exemplary use of analytical laboratory methods.

Eligible Categories: Jr. Int. or Sr. 

Award name: MEDLAB

University of Ottawa Award

Criteria: to honor the top senior project and encourage the winner or winners to pursue university studies in health, sciences or technology.

Eligible Categories: Senior 1 prize per region, amission scholarship.

The University of Ontario Institute of Technology Innovation Award

Criteria: demonstrating the most innovative development, adaptation, or use of technology in any subject area.

Eligible Categories:One of the two awards must go to a Junior project; there is no restriction on the age group of the other award.

Ministry of Econ. Develop. and Innovaton Stepping Stone Award

Criteria: Top project in fair.
