Self - Nominating Form
We are trying to ensure that the committee and the judges see all the projects that are eligible for each Special Award. Since the title of a project does not always indicate its content, we are asking exhibitors to look at the list of awards and criteria on our website (www.rslsf.ca), and indicate below those awards for which they think their project might qualify. This will also ensure that we give out the maximum number of prizes.
No more than three awards may be selected.
By indicating an award, it means only that you wish the judges to consider it for that award.
Remember that as stated in the rules and regulations, the judges may decide not to award a prize for whatever reason they decide, for any category or special award. They may also change your choice if they feel that the project is better suited for another award.
Do not nominate yourself for Best of Fair awards.
Note-If you are entering with a paper version of the application form you must submit one copy of your Project
Summary for each award nominated, as well as your original.
If you are entering online, you just need to submit one wordprocessing file of your Project Summary page when you submit your entry form.
Remember that the Summary is what the judges see first on Friday night and it is part of your total mark.
