Running the Rideau St. Lawrence Science Fair and sending our entrants to the Canada Wide Science fair takes about $15000 each year. This would be impossible without the support of many individuals and corporations.
Pricedex Software has been a regular and generous corporate donor to the RSLSF and this year we are pleased to be able to make Pricedex our Corporation of the Year.
This year, Mr. Terry O'Reilly, as head of Pricedex, was the guest speaker at the RSLSF Awards Ceremony. He spoke of the value of science fair in developing life and work related skills for those going into business or science. Mr O'Reilly stressed to the students the importance of continuing with their participation in science fairs, even pointing out that if he is hiring a new employee and he has two equally qualified candidates, he will invariably hire the one who developed science fair projects while a student.
