The RSLSF operates under Youth Science Canada’s (YSC) guidelines for the use of animals and human participation. All guidelines must be met for any project to enter the Canada Wide Science Fair. Adult supervisors must be aware of Ethics Guidelines and ensure that projects are compliant. Download a user-friendly pdf from Youth Science Canada here: Ethics in STEM Programs
Projects using microorganisms must have a qualified scientific supervisor. The RSLSF Safety Form R2-2020 must be completed before beginning the project. Please check the Safety Page.
If you have any questions, please Contact Us before you begin your project. We would be happy to assist with this.
